For the cake:
 250 g All-purpose flour
 300 g Granulated sugar
 1 tsp Baking soda
 ½ tsp Salt
 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
 2 Eggs
 120 ml Vegetable oil
 2 Ripe bananas, mashed
 200 g Crushed pineapple, drained
 60 g Chopped pecans
 1 tsp Vanilla extract
For the frosting:
 200 g Cream cheese, softened
 100 g Unsalted butter, softened
 240 g Powdered sugar
 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 2: In another bowl, whisk eggs and vegetable oil. Stir in mashed bananas, crushed pineapple, vanilla, and chopped pecans.

Step 3: Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Step 4: Divide the batter into two greased and floured 20 cm (8-inch) cake pans. Bake at 175 °C (350 °F) for 25–30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.

Step 5: Prepare the frosting: beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, then vanilla. Beat until fluffy.

Step 6: Place one cake layer on a plate, spread frosting on top, then add the second layer. Frost top and sides. Garnish with extra pecans if desired.
